Today, day and night hold hands in perfect balance. The Wheel of the Year turns to Mabon, the witch's harvest festival, and the Sun slips into Libra, the sign of the scales.
I'll be honest. As an accountant, I get a little giddy about this one. The Fall Equinox is the Universe's balance sheet. It's the moment we look at what we planted in spring, what we tended all summer, and what is ready to be gathered in. What came in. What went out. What we're keeping. What we're releasing. It’s the balance of the seasons.
And this year, the magic doesn't stop at the equinox. Just four days later, the Harvest Moon rises.
🌕 The Harvest Moon in Aries
The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the Fall Equinox, and it has a special gift. Unlike most full moons, which rise about 50 minutes later each night, the Harvest Moon rises at nearly the same time for several evenings in a row. Long ago, that extra glow let farmers keep bringing in their crops after sunset.

If there is one stone made for this week, it's Pyrite.
You may have heard it called "Fool's Gold." Here's my take: the only fool is the one who doesn't recognize the gold already in their hands. Pyrite is here to remind you that you are worthy of your harvest, and that you are allowed to go after it boldly.
Abundance magnet. Pyrite draws prosperity, opportunity, and financial flow. It's a staple on money altars for good reason.
Confidence and willpower. It lights a fire under your intentions and helps you take the action your dreams require.
Energetic shield. Pyrite protects your energy and deflects negativity, so you can stay focused on what matters.
Solar power. It carries the warmth of the sun into the darker half of the year, keeping your inner light glowing as the days grow shorter.
Grounded action. It pairs big dreams with practical follow-through. Very Libra Sun, very Aries Moon.

Pyrite comes to us in so many beautiful forms, and each one holds its magic a little differently.
Hearts blend abundance with self-love. They remind you that you are worthy of wealth, and that receiving is an act of loving yourself. A beautiful choice for anyone healing their money story.
Towers direct energy upward and outward. Place one on your altar or desk to broadcast your intentions to the Universe and keep your goals front and center.
Raw clusters are pure, untamed abundance. All those glittering faces radiate energy in every direction, making them perfect anchors for a money altar or the center of a crystal grid.
Cubes are the grounding builders of the Pyrite family. These perfect little cubes are not cut or carved by human hands; Mother Earth grows them this way all on her own, with those crisp edges and flat faces forming naturally. Their steady shape brings structure, stability, and follow-through to your plans. I love a cube for anyone building a business or a budget.
Rounded stones radiate gentle, steady prosperity all around them. Tuck one in your pocket, hold it during meditation, or keep one by your cash register or wallet.
There's no wrong choice here. Hold a few and notice which one warms in your hand. That's your stone.
🍁 Equinox Harvest Ritual with Pyrite
Do this tonight at your altar, or anytime before Saturday's full moon.
You'll need: a piece of Pyrite, a gold or orange candle, paper, and a pen.
Light your candle and hold your Pyrite in your dominant hand.
On one side of your paper, write your harvest list: everything you've received, grown, and accomplished since spring. Big and small. Every dollar, every win, every lesson counts.
On the other side, write what you are ready to release as the light wanes: debts, doubts, old money stories, anything that feels heavy.
Place the Pyrite on your harvest list and say: "I honor all I have gathered. I claim my gold. I am worthy of my harvest."
Fold the release side away from you and burn it with your candle.
🌕 Harvest Moon Charging Ritual
On Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night, set your Pyrite on a windowsill or outdoors where it can bathe in the Harvest Moon's light. Tell it one bold goal for the season ahead. Aries loves specifics, so name it clearly.
Keep your Pyrite dry and cleanse it with moonlight, smoke, or a Selenite wand rather than water. 🤍
