I am so excited to be teaching classes on beautiful, powerful Tarot cards, beginning this coming Sunday! Tarot has been a part of my spiritual practice for decades. This mystical tool has gotten me through challenges, has helped me to become my best self, and has even inspired my writing!
Tarot has improved my Mediumship skills and deepened my understanding of our world and worlds beyond us. Quite a claim! But true!
So how do these cards work? What makes their messages so potent?
One of the greatest blessings of Tarot is its intuitive nature. The images get us out of our heads and into our highest mind and truest heart space. Yes, it is fascinating and important to learn the meanings, but we really can ‘read’ Tarot cold – just by reacting to and expressing what the archetypes, the numbers, the colors, the special symbols mean to us personally now. Yes, Tarot helps us nurture and grow our psychic practices generally. We can become better astrologers, palm readers, Mediums and Intuitives through Tarot work.
There are thousands of Tarot decks, and each one can teach us something. Rather than reading a book about Tarot, I advise students to get a deck or two, read the little booklet, but mostly just start drawing cards and seeing how we connect with them! Many people keep a Tarot Journal to note down what they receive and how they have made a certain card personal.
Over the years, I have developed ways to understand and internalize the deck, starting with how my Grandmother used regular playing cards for her fortune telling.
I will start teaching a 4-part series of classes starting this Sunday at Soulful Abundance. Through these classes, I hope to pass on techniques and practices, and even my passion, so participants can develop their own connection to the Tarot and their own comfortable ways of using it.
The first Sunday, we will understand generally the Tarot as a whole, and we will practice, practice, practice. The subsequent sessions will focus in depth on the Major Arcana, the equally important Minor Arcana, and methods of using Tarot for self and to inspire others. By the first of February, we will all feel more confident about having this tool as an integral part of our lives.
Yes, we will have fallen in love!
Soulful Abundance, with its beautiful energies from the metamorphic heart of the Earth itself, is the perfect setting for these classes. Handouts will be provided, and different decks will be available for those attending to use. It is also fine to bring your own deck. Those who have never worked with Tarot before and those with years of experience are all welcome. I still learn something more about this amazing deck every time I turn a card.
