RIP Sophie the Crystal Dog

Some souls make every room better just by being in it. Sophie was one of those souls.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share that Sophie, the Soulful Abundance Crystal Dog, has passed over the rainbow bridge.

Sophie was there from the very beginning. From the day we opened our doors in December 2022, she showed up for work alongside me every single day. She greeted every customer who walked through the door with her whole heart. She supervised crystal selections with great authority. She made people feel welcome in a way that only a dog can.

A few months ago, Sophie retired. She could no longer get in and out of the car, so she hung up her supervisor duties and settled into her well-earned rest at home. She had put in her time. She had done her job beautifully.

Sophie came into my life 4 years ago when I rescued her as a senior dog. She lived her last years being my companion, and we had a very good time.

She chose her moment perfectly. She passed on Friday, August 28th, under the full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces, a day astrologers describe as one of completion, release, and the closing of sacred cycles. For a soul as magical as hers, there could not have been a more fitting or beautiful day to cross over. 

I like to think she knew how loved she was. By me. By our staff. By every single person who ever knelt down to say hello to her in the shop. Many folks would stop in just to say hi to Sophie.

Sophie spent her days surrounded by crystals. If any dog was living in the highest vibration, it was her.

She was a very good girl. The best girl.
