Some days are just ordinary days. And some days the universe reminds you that timing is everything.
Today is July 7th. 7/7.
In numerology, when a number appears doubled like this, it creates what's called a portal, a gateway of amplified energy. The number 7 carries the energy of spiritual wisdom, deep intuition, and inner truth. Double it, and you get a day that is extraordinarily potent for manifestation, reflection, and stepping fully into your path.
The message of the 7/7 Portal 2026 is not simply to receive spiritual insight; it is to live it.
I didn't plan this. But I also wasn't surprised.

What the 7/7 Portal Means
A spiritual portal is like a doorway between our world and another, a temporary channel you can open through ritual, energy, or intention to allow wisdom and magic to flow.
The number 7 is associated with intuition, introspection, and spiritual wisdom. And while the energy of this numerological event peaks today, its lingering effects last for weeks afterward.
This particular portal carries something extra. 2026 is a Universal Year 1 in numerology; the number of fresh starts and new nine-year cycles. Stack it all together and July 7th sits at the intersection of beginnings, thresholds, and deep introspection. Something is starting, but not without first being examined honestly.
That is exactly what this book is.
What It Means to Be a Witch
I need to say something about the word witch.
I know it stops some people. I know it carries old weight; fear, misunderstanding, centuries of stories designed to keep women small and silent and afraid of their own power.
But here is what I know to be true.
A witch is a woman who trusts herself. Who works with the rhythms of nature. Who understands that intention shapes reality. Who refuses to separate her spiritual life from her everyday life; from her finances, her relationships, her creative work, her dreams.
A witch pays attention. To the moon. To the seasons. To the whisper of her own intuition when it tells her something important.
I have been a witch my whole life. I just didn't always have the language for it.
I grew up Catholic; you’ve read my personal stories in my past blogs. Rosaries on my altar, May Day lilac crowns with my grandmother Marie, a deep and abiding relationship with Mother Mary. I also carry a deep love for the goddess Kuan Yin. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the divine feminine I'd always felt being connected to Mother Mary and Kuan Yin was the same energy I felt working with crystals, setting intentions at the New Moon, and sitting at my altar and asking for guidance.
Different traditions. Same devotion. Same magic.
Why I Wrote This Book
I didn't write this book from the mountaintop. I wrote it from the path.
I'm a lifelong accountant. I've spent four decades working with businesses, helping people understand their numbers. I have two certifications in money coaching. I know spreadsheets the way some women know scripture.
And starting in 2010, my entire life fell apart.
A divorce. A bed and breakfast I'd built with my own hands and a rental house dropped into the 2008 housing crash but needed to be sold. Two mortgages. A move to California. A new job. Deep losses I still have not fully recovered from. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, my body decided this was the perfect time for menopause.
Knowing the numbers was never my problem. My relationship with money was.
What I discovered in the years of rebuilding that followed was this: traditional money advice was never designed for women like us. It touches the spreadsheet but never the story underneath it. It fixes the budget but leaves the beliefs untouched.
The Abundant Witch is the book I needed then. It's the book I wish had existed.
